Renting a power bank: FAQ

How does renting work?

Find a station, scan the QR code in the app or pay by card at the terminal, take the power bank and charge. You can return it at any Rechargy station.

Do I need the app?

No. At stations with a terminal you can pay directly by card. The app helps you find all stations nearby and keeps track of your rentals.

Will it work with my phone?

Yes. Every power bank has USB-C, Lightning and Micro-USB built in and also charges compatible phones wirelessly.

Where can I return the power bank?

At any Rechargy station, not just where you rented it. You’ll find all locations in the app or on our map.

How much does it cost?

You’ll see the current rates in the app or at the terminal before every rental – transparent, no hidden fees.

I have a problem with my rental.

Email us at support@rechargy.de and we’ll help you right away.
